Dresses for a June Wedding...

I was asked back at the beginning of May to sew 5 dresses for a wedding on June 10th...YES that is 5 dresses...got them all done last week. The wedding is this Friday night....I'm so excited and I hope that my cousin Jon and his very soon to be wife Tabitha have a wonderful married life.
Here's the pattern it's New Look 6589.

Here are all 5 dresses cut out and ready to sew together.

Here is one of the finished dresses (actually 2, but you can only see one).
My aunt came last week and picked up the dresses...she loved them. She delivered them to the Bride...she LOVED them too (my aunt said she cried when she saw them...I was told tears of joy).
I am so glad that the dresses are loved....there are lots of tears and prayers in each dress.

I was also asked to make a couple of other dresses and tablecloths during this same time frame. I managed to make Kevin a new t-shirt as well.
Matching dresses for Stacey and Christina. These were very quick and easy (just sew a seam or two and done).
This is the color of the tablecloths. Yes I know that the corner is missing,
but they are going to be on round tables and they will drape nicely without the corners.
The lady I made them for ended up using smaller tables than originally planned.
It's a good thing she has some very creative friends, because they managed to make these
72" square tablecloths fit some very small tables. They grabbed several spools of white ribbon and
gathered the corners up kinda loose and tied knots...they looked great on the tables...wish I had taked pics.
Maybe I can get one or two from someone else at the birthday party.

Here is Kevin's new t-shirt...on me! I know it's way too big, but I needed a pic and he wasn't home yet.
He loved it and wore it to the birthday party that I made the tablecloths for. :))

God does some mighty and wonderful things for us and I am so glad that he loves me enough to help me through each day.
